Nov. 1999 ATRAP Collaborators from Garching report the first coherent source of Lyman-alpha radiation, a source developed to facilitate the spectroscopy of antihydrogen
Aug. 1999 ATRAP Collaborators from Harvard demonstrate the feasibility of cooling trapped elementary particles to 70 mK, encouraging ATRAP plans to similarly cool antiprotons and positrons
May 1999 ATRAP's predecessor TRAP reports the first simultaneous confinement and interaction of the ingredients of cold antihydrogen.  Closer to cold antihydrogen than ever before!
April 1999 ATRAP's predecessor TRAP report that the charge-to-mass ratio of the antiproton and proton differ by less than 9 parts in 1011, nearly a million-fold improvement in this comparison.  This is the most stringent test of CPT invariance with a baryon system, a test upon which ATRAP hopes to improve.
